Caplum Works Orders
Teamwork is crucial in a modern network where two or three different departments are all using the same resources. For Moves, Additions and Changes – CAPLUM does not just record what has happened – it is used to drive and monitor the outstanding moves and changes. The Works Order System can also be used to record and progress miscellaneous items – telephone and data equipment, other services etc. The result is a comprehensive tool that gives outstanding order analysis and order history.

• Automatic routing
• Assignment of the job to the right engineer
• SLA recording and reporting
• Manages and records all activity in your network

Works orders are at the heart of Caplum using the data in Caplum to make changes quickly and easily without the need for the operator to have indepth knowledge of the network prior to working with it. The works order module can be customised to meet your process whether you are following ridged rules or want a very simple process. It can pass jobs through different teams or individuals allowing a job to flow through many departments for the different parts of the jobs or approval for jobs.

As network components are allocated to a job they are removed from other users use, ensuring that when the job is actioned the resources are still available. This is especially useful when planning large moves in advance. Allowing forward planning means that when the job is actioned there are no nasty surprises, reactive unplanned work and delays.
